A 20-year-old man has been charged after a teenager was stabbed at a funfair.
Suffolk Police was called to the Recreation Ground off Camps Road in Haverhill at about 18:10 BST on Friday.
A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital and discharged a short time later.
The arrested man, who is from Sudbury, was charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, assault by beating, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and possession of a knife blade in a public place.
He is due to appear before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The force said one stabbing suspect was “alleged to have been assaulted himself” having been kicked to the head.
A further allegation had been reported to the police that a 12-year-old boy had been punched prior to the stabbing.
A 22-year-old man from Haverhill, who was arrested on suspicion of assault, has been released under investigation, the force added.
