Astrologer Greenstone Lobo has shed light on the recent retirement wave in Indian cricket, attributing it to cosmic shifts that signal the end of a golden era. According to Lobo, the retirements of Ravichandran Ashwin, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were not coincidental, but astrologically inevitable. “These legends were born in 1986-87 when four powerful cosmic bodies – including Neptune and Uranus – were in their strongest positions,” he said. “That alignment shaped their greatness.” However, Lobo believes that in 2024-25, Uranus—the key planet for all three—entered a debilitated phase. “It’s like a soldier losing his sword. Their Neptune and Pluto alignments make them ready to carry the baton for the next decade.”
