Mumbai Indians head coach Mahela Jayawardene expressed confidence in his team’s ability to qualify for the IPL 2025 playoffs, insisting they’ve “always been in contention” following a six-match winning streak. The five-time champions now face a must-win clash against Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday, with a playoff berth on the line.“It’s in our control. On squad availability, he confirmed replacements were lined up for departing overseas players: “Two of them — Richard Gleeson and Charith Asalanka — are already here.
