    Royal Challengers Bengaluru confirmed a top-two spot in the 2025 IPL standings. RCB are in pursuit of their maiden IPL crown and will take on Punjab Kings in the Final on 3 June.Here’s a look at RCB’s route to the IPL 2025 Finals:1. KKR vs RCB (RCB won by 7 wickets)RCB opened their IPL 2025 campaign with a win over Kolkata Knight Riders. After KKR posted 175, Virat Kohli led the chase with a composed 59 off 36 balls. However, it was former Mumbai Indians all-rounder Krunal Pandya who sealed the win with a match-winning spell of 3/29 in four overs, earning the Player of the Match award.2. RCB vs CSK (RCB win by 50 runs)RCB made it two in two with a dominant performance against Chennai Super Kings. After setting a target of 197, the bowlers restricted CSK to just 146. Rajat Patidar’s 50 off 32 balls earned him the Player of the Match, while Josh Hazlewood’s 3/21 was pivotal in the win.3. RCB vs GT (GT won by wickets)Bengaluru suffered their first defeat of the season to Gujarat Titans. Defending 169, RCB couldn’t contain GT, who chased the target with 13 balls to spare. Former RCB bowler Mohammed Siraj took 3/19 against his old franchise and was named Player of the Match.

    4. RCB vs MI (RCB won by 12 runs)Quiz: Who’s that IPL player?Bouncing back from defeat, RCB posted 221 and successfully defended it against Mumbai Indians. MI managed 209, falling short by 12 runs. Rajat Patidar was named Player of the Match for his 64 off 32, with Virat Kohli also contributing 67 from 42.5. RCB vs DC (DC won by 6 wickets)Delhi Capitals ended RCB’s winning momentum with a clinical chase. RCB’s 163 proved insufficient as KL Rahul smashed 93 to guide DC to victory. Kuldeep Yadav (2/17) and Vipraj Nigam (2/18) helped restrict RCB, with Rahul taking home the Player of the Match award.6. RCB vs RR (RCB won by 9 wickets)RCB returned to winning ways with a dominant 9-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals, chasing 174 with ease. Openers Phil Salt (65 off 33) and Virat Kohli (62*) starred in the win. Salt was named Player of the Match.7. RCB vs PBKS (PBKS won by 5 wickets)In a rain-reduced 14-over match, RCB managed just 95, which Punjab Kings chased with 11 balls and five wickets to spare. Despite the loss, Tim David was named Player of the Match for his 26-ball fifty.8. PBKS vs RCB (RCB won by 7 wickets)Just two days after their previous clash, RCB got their revenge with a seven-wicket win. Chasing 158, Virat Kohli anchored the innings with a 73-run knock and was named Player of the Match.

    9. RCB vs RR (RCB won by 11 runs)RCB continued their strong run, posting 205 against Rajasthan Royals. Kohli scored 70 off 42, while Josh Hazlewood’s 4/33 dismantled the RR batting order. Hazlewood was named Player of the Match.10. DC vs RCB (RCB won by 6 wickets)RCB chased down Delhi’s target of 162 with ease. Krunal Pandya played a decisive role with a match-winning 73 off 47 deliveries. Kohli chipped in with a steady 50 from 47. Pandya earned his second Player of the Match award of the season.11. RCB vs CSK (RCB won by 2 runs)RCB completed the double over CSK at Chinnaswamy Stadium in a thriller. After posting 213, they held off CSK, who fell short by just 2 runs. Jacob Bethell and Virat Kohli hit half-centuries, but Romario Shepherd’s 43 off 14 proved decisive and earned him Player of the Match.12. RCB vs KKR (Abandoned)The second RCB vs KKR match was abandoned due to rain without a ball being bowled. Both teams shared a point.

    13. SRH vs RCB (SRH won by 42 runs)With qualification already secured, RCB faltered chasing 288, losing by 42 runs to eliminate SRH. Travis Head scored a blistering 102 off 41 balls and was named Player of the Match. Klaasen added a rapid 67.14. LSG vs RCB (RCB won by 6 wickets)In their final league game, RCB pulled off their highest-ever chase against Lucknow Super Giants. Despite Rishabh Pant’s magnificent 118 off 61 balls, RCB chased 228 with 8 balls to spare. Stand-in captain Jitesh Sharma smashed 85* off 33 and was named Player of the Match.15. PBKS vs RCB (RCB won by 8 wickets)In qualifier 1, RCB thrashed Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1 to secure a direct ticket to the final.In a dominant display, Bengaluru bowled out PBKS for just 101 runs, showcasing their depth and discipline with the ball. The modest target was chased down in just 10 overs, with opener Phil Salt smashing an unbeaten 57 off 26 deliveries, guiding the team home.
