Prasidh Krishna faced 11 balls in India’s second innings. The task given to India’s No. 11 by all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was to negotiate the last two balls against the pacers, and he fulfilled it by surviving deliveries from Chris Woakes and Josh Tongue.After a sudden collapse, Jadeja and Krishna forged a useful 15-run stand for the last wicket, which forced England captain Ben Stokes to bring back spinner Shoaib Bashir.Jadeja took a single off the fourth ball, leaving Krishna with one job: block out the next two deliveries.
