A mother joked that she felt “jealous” after her nine-year-old daughter was singled out in a concert crowd by Justin Timberlake.
The US singer performed at Chelmsford City Racecourse as part of the three-day Chelmsford City Live festival on Friday.
Arabella and her mum Becky brought a large American flag that wished Timberlake a happy Fourth of July, which caught the eye of the performer during the set.
“Arabella, what a beautiful name and what a beautiful little lady,” he told the crowd.
Becky told BBC Essex: “I’m very jealous. I’ve loved him since he started his career. She’s achieved in nine years what I’ve been trying to do for the past 25 years.”
