A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after two men were killed and another two were injured in a stabbing at a business in south-east London.
A 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and a 27-year-old man died in hospital following the stabbing on Long Lane in Bermondsey at about 13:00 BST on Monday.
A third man, who in his 30s, is in a life-threatening condition in hospital, the Met Police said.
The arrested man, aged 31, is also in hospital although his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The victims were believed to have been known to each other, the Metropolitan Police said.
Labour MP Neil Coyle, who represents Bermondsey and Old Southwark, described the stabbings as “truly awful” and said it was “a targeted, isolated incident”.
Det Ch Supt Emma Bond said: “Our thoughts are first and foremost with the family and friends of the victims of this tragic incident.
“Our investigation continues at pace and we are working hard to understand the full circumstances.”
