Tramlines has teamed up with a Sheffield food bank to tease the names of artists that will perform at the music festival next summer.

Fatboy Slim and Rick Astley are among the famous faces featured on limited-edition tins of baked beans handed out at the S6 Foodbank in Upperthorpe.

Each colourful can displays a band or singer as well as Tramlines branding as part of the organisers’ Spill the Beans campaign. Visitors donating food to the hub on Cross Bedford Street were given a tin in exchange.

Acts performing at Tramlines will be unveiled at the first official announcement at 18:00 GMT on Monday.

Other acts printed onto cans include Blossoms, Kaiser Chiefs, The K’s and Courteeners.

In previous years, the festival has teased the names of performers on miniature bottles of Henderson’s Relish.

Pia Scattergood from Tramlines said organisers wanted to stick with the food theme.

“We wanted to be fun and playful and in the spirit of the festival but also to team up with a local group who are doing such important work,” she said.

Chris Hardy, manager of the food bank which opened in 2010, said it was a “vital collaboration”.

The charity, which feeds 1,500 people each week, opened a large warehouse to store food earlier this year because demand for its service has continued to grow.

He said: “It means so much to us, the connection with Tramlines grows our reputation and profile in the city.

“It helps people in Sheffield who are struggling to buy food at this present time.”

The 2026 Tramlines festival will take place in Hillsborough Park on 24-26 July.
