An investigation is under way after reports three people were shot at by a man on a bike, police said.
The shooting was reported to have taken place on Thames Street in Toxteth, Liverpool, on Friday afternoon.
All those involved left the area following the incident, Merseyside Police said.
A spokesperson said officers were making house-to-house enquiries in the area.
