Mysore Fashion Week Season 8 concludes

The three-day Mysore Fashion Week (MFW) Season 8, featuring several noted fashion celebrities of the country, concluded at Silent Resort and Spa in Mysuru on Sunday.

Curated by Mysuru designer and fashion entrepreneur Jayanthi Ballal, the show brought together celebrated designers, celebrity showstoppers, supermodels, and fashion enthusiasts under one roof.

Ishita Dutta, Aditi Pohankar, Anupriya Goenka, Mannara Chopra, Ritu Shivpuri and Vatsal Sheth walked the ramp at the event.

Over the course of three days, the runway hosted an exciting line-up of designers who presented distinctive collections blending craftsmanship, contemporary silhouettes, and rich design narratives, the statement added.

Ms. Ballal said Mysore Fashion Week continues to grow as a vibrant platform that celebrates “creativity, craftsmanship, and emerging talent”.

“Season 8 brought together designers with unique voices, inspiring collections, and incredible energy from the audience. It is rewarding to see Mysore steadily evolving into a destination for fashion, design, and cultural expression,” she said.

Founder of modelling academy Blackanvas Edu, Parimal Mehta, said events like Mysore Fashion Week are important because they create real opportunities for emerging talent to experience the scale and professionalism of the fashion industry. 

“It’s encouraging to see designers, models, and creative professionals come together on one platform, learning from each other while presenting their work to a wider audience.”
