The new Streetfighter V4 continues to trace its lineage directly to the Panigale V4, but this time the resemblance goes far beyond skin deep. At its core lies the same 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine, developed from Ducati’s MotoGP program, producing 214 hp at 13,500 rpm and 12.2 kgm of torque at 11,250 rpm, all within Euro5+ compliant trim. It is an engine built for uncompromising performance, yet refined to deliver precise control on real-world rads. The counter-rotating crankshaft and Twin Pulse firing order give it that signature Ducati pulse, and for those who live for track days, an optional Akrapovič exhaust bumps output to 226 hp. Even so, this is not a motorcycle that has been softened for the streets—it is one that has been meticulously re-engineered to make the most of both worlds.

Visually, the Streetfighter V4 remains one of the most striking naked machines on the planet. Its aggressive stance is defined by the low LED headlamp unit flanked by integrated biplane wings that now generate up to 17 kg of downforce at 270 km/h. The overall proportions have been refined, with the front appearing more planted and the tail sleeker. The sculpted 16-litre aluminium tank, narrow at the waist and broad-shouldered up top, gives the rider more room to move under braking or while cornering. Even the new double-sided Hollow Symmetrical Swingarm contributes not only to improved traction but also to the Streetfighter’s distinctive visual drama. It is unmistakably a Ducati — raw, mechanical, and beautifully put together.

From its counter-rotating crankshaft to the Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 suspension, every detail of the Streetfighter V4 is engineered to deliver pure Ducati exhilaration—on road or track.

Underneath its sculpted exterior, Ducati’s chassis engineering ensures that the Streetfighter V4 delivers the same confidence as the superbike it descends from. The new front frame is lighter and more flexible laterally, improving feel when leaned over. The standard version features fully adjustable Showa Big Piston forks and a Sachs rear monoshock, while the V4 S gets the latest generation of Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 semi-active suspension that constantly adjusts damping based on conditions. Together with lighter forged wheels and Brembo Hypure™ brakes — now more efficient and lighter than before, the Streetfighter promises a sharper, more controlled riding experience whether you are attacking corners on a circuit or navigating fast sweepers on open roads.

The electronics suite has undergone a significant evolution. Ducati has moved the inertial platform closer to the bike’s centre of gravity, improving the precision of the data it feeds into systems such as traction control, wheelie control, and slide control. A major innovation, the introduction of the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) allows for real-time analysis of rider inputs and road conditions, effectively simulating data from multiple sensors to refine how the bike responds in every situation. The new Race eCBS system, developed in collaboration with Bosch, harmonises braking inputs from both wheels for improved stability during hard braking or mid-corner corrections. All of these systems operate unobtrusively in the background, allowing the rider to focus on the ride itself, knowing that the electronics are optimizing grip, power delivery, and braking in real time. The 6.9-inch TFT display, with its wide aspect ratio, makes accessing and customising these settings easy, while the four riding modes — Race, Sport, Road, and Wet, cover the entire spectrum of conditions the bike might encounter.

Raw power meets refined control. With 214 hp on tap and sharper aerodynamics, it’s the Panigale’s wild alter ego set free for the streets.

Despite its hardcore nature, Ducati has considered rider comfort in the 2025 Streetfighter V4. The ergonomics are more relaxed, with a handlebar positioned 10 mm closer and footpegs that sit lower and slightly forward, making longer rides less fatiguing without compromising ground clearance. The seat-tank junction is designed to offer better grip under braking, and subtle air channels within the fairing direct heat away from the rider’s legs, a thoughtful touch for Indian conditions.

Ultimately, the 2025 Streetfighter V4 is not designed to please everyone — and that is precisely its appeal. It is engineered for those who understand and appreciate what Ducati stands for: a blend of racing heritage, Italian craftsmanship, and uncompromising performance. It is more refined than before, but it has not lost its edge. For riders seeking the thrill of a superbike without the constraints of fairings and clip-ons, this is as pure as it gets.

    Pricing (Ex-Showroom India):

    Streetfighter V4 – ₹28,68,600

    Streetfighter V4 S – ₹32,38,400
