Firefighters are tackling a fire at a ground floor shop in south-east London, with people urged to avoid the area.
Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters were deployed at about 18:30 BST to Perry Vale in Forest Hill where the building was in flames.
A 25-metre cordon remains in place and significant traffic disruption is expected in the Forest Hill area, the London Fire Brigade said. Nearby residents have also been advised to keep their doors and windows shut due to smoke from the blaze.
The brigade said it received 49 calls to the fire and sent crews from Forest Hill, Lewisham, Beckenham, West Norwood and surrounding fire stations to the scene.
