Seven schools have been closed due to flooding and a flood warning and a number of flood alerts have been issued across the West Midlands after heavy overnight rain.
The schools, five primary and two secondary are all in Herefordshire and were shut, staff said, due to concerns about pupils and staff getting in safely.
Storm Chandra brought heavy rain and strong winds to the UK on Tuesday.
The flood warning in the West Midlands, for the Illey Brook at Halesowen, means flooding is expected in the area on Tuesday, the Environment Agency said.
