A house and van have been destroyed after an arson attack in County Londonderry in the early hours of Sunday.
Police received a report of a fire on the Seacoast Road near Limavady shortly after 02:00 BST.
It is believed that a van, which was parked at the house, was set alight with the fire spreading to the house.
Police said there were no reports of any injuries and no one was in the house at the time.
The Alliance councillor for the area called the incident “extremely distressing”.
Amy Mairs said: “We can only be glad nobody was in the property at the time of the fire.”
“My thoughts and sympathies are with the owners of the property who have seen their home completely destroyed,” she added.
