“I don’t build it up in my head too much. I try to focus on my job, and my job was to get the team off to a good start,” Rahul said. “Very good knock, very important in the context of the game. Really happy to put up this performance.” This was Rahul’s second Test century at Lord’s. He had earlier scored a memorable hundred during India’s 2021 tour of England.
