Following their thumping 59-run win over Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians became the fourth and final team to qualify for the IPL 2025 playoffs. The other three teams for the knockouts are Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Punjab Kings.With the win, the Hardik Pandya-led team, the five-time champions, has now secured a spot in the playoffs an impressive 11 times.Mumbai pipped Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who have reached the final four ten times but are yet to win the elusive title.

Leading the pack with an unparalleled record of 12 playoff qualifications are the Chennai Super Kings. Three-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad have made it to the playoffs eight and seven times, respectively.
IPL 2025 points table after MI vs DC
Gujarat Titans are on top of the IPL 2025 standings with 18 points, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings both have 17 points. These three teams had already secured a spot for the playoffs, and MI joined them on Wednesday.

Qualifier 2, to be played between the loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator, will take place on Sunday, June 1st.
