Karun Nair brought up a double century on Day 2 of the unofficial Test between India A and England Lions at Canterbury on Saturday. Nair brought up the mark with a boundary in the 101st over of India A’s innings. This is the fourth occasion on which Nair scored 200 runs or more in a single innings. His highest First-Class score is 328, achieved while playing for Karnataka against Tamil Nadu during the 2015/16 season. Nair is also the second Indian batter, following Virender Sehwag, to record a triple century in Test cricket.
