A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect after a baby was found injured in water at a Lincoln park, police said.
Lincolnshire Police was called to Boultham Park at about 21:20 BST on Thursday when they discovered the 15-month-old boy.
The child had minor injuries, the force said, and was taken to hospital for further checks. Officers remain at the park, with investigations taking place to determine how the child ended up in the water.
Police asked those who were in the area at the time who saw or heard anything suspicious to get in contact.
“Any detail, no matter how small, could prove crucial,” a force spokesperson added.
