Coimbatore: A speeding private bus collided with four two-wheelers, two cars, and a truck on Avinashi Road near Chinniyampalayam on Friday night, leaving one dead and six injured.The deceased has been identified as Sundararajan, 54. He succumbed to injuries at a private hospital. City police said the driver of the bus, which was on its way from Coimbatore to Perambalur, lost control due to brake failure and collided with vehicles which were travelling in the same direction. Meanwhile, during preliminary inquiry, it came to light that the bus driver had a heated argument with one of the passengers, just minutes before the accident. Traffic investigation wing police have registered a case and are investigating.
