SuppliedTributes and flowers have been left after a body was found by teams searching for a missing 13-year-old boy.
Appeals to find Mylo Capilla were issued after he was last seen at about 21:00 BST on Thursday, at an area known as the “Muddies” in Ingleby Barwick, Teesside.
Cleveland Police confirmed officers and partner agencies searching the River Tees had found the body of a boy on Friday.
Formal identification was yet to take place, police said, but tributes have been address to Mylo.
One was addressed to a loved “best friend”, who would be missed every day.
Flowers were being laid in Ramsey Gardens, next to the Muddies.
However, Cleveland Police requested on behalf of the family that they instead be laid at St Francis of Assisi Church of England on Barwick Way.
Specialist teams, including police drones and dogs, searched throughout Thursday night and into Friday with support from Cleveland Fire Brigade, marine water and mountain rescue.
People were warned to keep away from the search area for their own safety.
