Two teenage boys have been arrested by detectives investigating a serious sexual assault on a teenage girl in County Antrim.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said it happened in the Clonavon Terrace area, in Ballymena, between 19:30 and 22:30 BST on Saturday.
Det Insp Olphert, from the PSNI’s Public Protection Branch, said the teenagers, who have been arrested in connection with the investigation, are being questioned in custody.
“Specialist officers are continuing to support the girl who has been left extremely distressed and traumatised by what has happened.”
