A van has crashed through a first storey opening in a Leeds city centre car park.
Emergency services are at the scene at the NCP The Markets car park, on New York Street, with the vehicle’s nose still dangling out from the bay.
The occupants of the van were taken to hospital for precautionary checks, with three members of the public also taken to hospital after being hit by falling rubble, according to West Yorkshire Police.
None of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening, a force spokesperson said.
Damage to the building was being assessed by West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue and structural engineers, the spokesperson added.
New York Street has been partially closed because of the incident.
