A race was the only waiter go for restaurant staff battling it out to win £100.
Hospitality workers weaved their way through the streets at the 50th Soho Village Fete and Waiters’ Race, in central London.
The challenge saw them carrying a tray replete with champagne bottle, glass and ashtray, which they were not allowed to drop.
The event was celebrating its golden jubilee, with the first one taking place in 1975.
Amid stiff competition the contest was won by Alessandro Belometti, of Bar Termini.
