Hull KR head coach Willie Peters says they have turned their attentions towards completing the treble after securing the League Leaders’ Shield for the first time.
The Robins won the Challenge Cup for the first time since 1980 in June and secured top spot in Super League with a hard-fought win over Warrington on Thursday.
“I’m really pleased for everyone involved in the club. It’s a reward for consistency throughout the season and I want to thank the players and staff for their efforts so far,” he told BBC Radio Humberside.
“There have been two trophies that have been available and we’ve got two but obviously there’s one to go and we want to work towards getting that one as well.”
KR could have collected the Shield last week but slipped to a comprehensive 28-12 defeat at sixth-placed Wakefield, which opened the door for second-placed Wigan.
In front of an expectant home crowd they surprisingly fell behind to an inexperienced Wire side on Thursday before coming back to win.
Peters acknowledged that he felt the nerves from the crowd but that going into the play-offs off the back of a hard-fought win could potentially prove beneficial.
“They certainly found a voice at the back end; even when we were behind I thought they got behind us then,” he said.
“There was a moment when they did get a bit quiet and they were probably thinking like everyone ‘oh, what’s going on here?’ but then when we needed them, they stepped up and the players did too.”
He added: “We’re certainly not getting carried away with it but to win like that leading into a semi isn’t a bad thing either because you can go and win by 40 but what does that achieve?
“We found a way to win in the back end and I’m happy about that.”
